“I can’t believe he broke up with me!” Kim sobbed.
“I know, honey,” Jenny said, “at least you won’t have to deal with his snowman obsession any more.”
“They were everywhere! I’d love to take a match to them all.”
“Not worth it, jail isn’t fun. When is he coming to get his stuff?”
“After work.”
Jenny gave her a mischievous grin.
Kim set the box on the curb. “You sure this’ll work?”
“Trust me.” Jenny replied, adjusting the snowman’s nose. “Did you text him?”
“Yeah, told him I didn’t want to see him. He’ll be here soon.”
Kyle picked up the last of his things and sneered. “What, you her guard dog now?”
Jenny clicked the butane lighter in reply and stepped back. The snowman burst into flames. Kyle slammed his driver’s door, fishtailing wildly as he raced away.
Kim stepped out, laughing. “How in the world?”
“Fire snow.”
March 20th had a wacky holiday: “Snowman Burning Day” and the Bunker Squirrel community offered up a flash prompt. We had 4 hours to write a 150-words max story.
Did you know there was such a thing as fire snow? I didn’t, but found this video on youtube on how to make it, and my imagination took off from there.

Wonderful imagination Dawn. Who knew, I certainly didn’t know anything about fire snow. Thank you for sharing. 💕
