I stepped out with Fear and courage My constant companions Allowing myself To take a chance Moving my dreams forward Letting them unfold One by one Tentatively I released them Hoping the soil was fertile enough For them to grow Storms came and went Sun and wind pummeled them Yet they grew Holding hands with fear But growing strong Held up by courage
